Model 231

An important tool for protecting businesses

The 231 Organisational Model was introduced to enable companies to be exempted from liability for offences attributable to individual employees. By adopting such a model, a company may legitimately seek to exclude or limit its own liability arising from one of the offences referred to in the relevant legislation. The Firm assists businesses in protecting themselves, through a preventive and structured approach, against such liabilities and the resulting severe penalties.

Companies cannot be held liable if, before an offence is committed by a person connected to them, they have adopted and implemented Organisational and Management Models suitable for preventing such offences. Furthermore, the 231 Code of Conduct (introduced by the 231 Model) is binding on collaborators and suppliers.
